GARDEN DESIGN APPROACH
Garden Project Location: Beckenham, South East London
We refreshed and reshaped the overgrown garden of an Edwardian house in Beckenham, transforming it into a spacious, light-filled urban retreat.
The redesign included two entertaining spaces and an impressive new garden room, bringing more space, light, and colour to the garden.
The family wanted a comfortable space to relax and enjoy their surroundings. To achieve this, we added a new L’shaped patio at the back of the house, incorporating outdoor dining, raised beds, and comfortable seating with floating benches.
The rear part of the garden was perfect for a stunning ‘L’ shaped garden room, clad with Siberian larch, providing a multi-functional living space. Additionally, another patio area was created for sitting, unwinding, and enjoying the garden.
Existing apple and lime trees were seamlessly integrated into the new design, along with a turfed lawn and low-maintenance beds. A selection of blue, purple, and pink plants was chosen to provide year-round interest. A smooth porcelain path connects the two patios, allowing for a seamless journey through the garden.
