Originally from Adelaide, Australia, Katerina grew up as a first-generation Greek-Australian. Her childhood garden was filled with fruit trees, vegetable beds, beehives and open space. A suburban plot shaped entirely by her parents' Greek roots, and the place where her love of growing began.

After moving to the UK, she built a successful career in science and fundraising, earning a PhD, before retraining at the British Academy of Garden Design in 2020.

In 2021, she founded her South East London practice, bringing together analytical thinking, creative vision and a design philosophy rooted in two cultures, two climates and a lifelong connection to the outdoors.

Katerina's work is rooted in the belief that a well-designed garden should feel like it was always meant to be there.

Every project is shaped by the architecture of the home, the character of the site, the lifestyle of the people who use it and the long-term growth of the planting. Nothing is generic. Nothing is dropped in.
